What Does the Bible Say About Women In Ministry?

Ans: Let us go to the book of Galatians 3:28

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: For you are all one in Christ Jesus”.

The Bible makes it clear that in ministry or work of God, there is no male nor female, no gender issue is considered; because of the promise, the mercy of David, the love of God, which is the spirit of Jesus which we carry as believers are one.

Therefore, it is not about whether you are a man or a woman, but about the spirit of Jesus that is in you.

Somebody will say, but what about Paul’s admonition in 1 Tim 2:12,

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor the usurped authority over the man, but to be in silence”?

Paul gave a reason for this, because of the weakness of the women in upholding the faith:

“Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in transgression”.

But today we have seen men in ministry deceived and went into error. But anywho is strong in spirit has been proved successful and acceptable to God.

Therefore a woman who is called in the ministry of the apostles to start work in Christ Jesus should obey God and trust the leading of Jesus in her over men under her spiritual authority she shall do well and accepted by God.
