Who IS Jesus, When Did He Become The Son Of God And How?

Answer: Jesus Christ is the son of God. He is the word of God made flesh.

When did he become the son of God and how he became the son of God has always being a controversial issue.

For many only know that he was born of a virgin. To many others, it is unbelievable among atheists and people of other faith that he is a son of God.

Profit: And I believe that the knowledge of this revelation will help you understand whom Jesus is indeed; the mysteries surrounding his birth and existence in the world.

Understanding these mysteries will give you insight into the love of God for us in the person of Jesus. And it will give you assurance to believe in Jesus what he is able to do in your life.

Surely you will fall in love with him and shall begin to put your whole trust on him.

Knowledge is power knowing about Jesus will release a supernatural power within you to bear upon your natural senses that generate faith for you to move your mountains.

The Bible says in Luke 1:30-35;
Mary had favour with God. And conceived in her womb, to bring forth a son and shall call his named Jesus. And he shall be great and shall be called the son of God.

This Jesus Christ is the word of God made flesh as it is written in John 1:14
“And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth”.
Now we know of a truth Jesus is the son of God, but the question when was he the son of God?

Somebody will say, it is at his birth by a virgin Mary here on earth.
Yes, this is true as to when he became the son of God with flesh, bone and blood thereby also called the son of man. (Mk 8:31).

And so of necessity must born a spirit being, therefore, the question is, when did Jesus become a son of God?
David the Psalmist was the first to receive the revelation in Psalm 2:7, saying
“I will declare the decree: The Lord hath said unto me;  Thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee”
Which day did David see the Son declared a begotten son?
St Paul got the observation, interpretation and application of this decreed promise of God when he said in Acts 13:32-33.
“And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God had fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again, as it is also written in the second Psalm, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee”.
You can now see when Jesus was begotten son of God was the day he was raised up from the dead. He was raised up a quickening spirit (1 Cor 15:45-46)

And it came to pass that when Mary Magdalene wanted to touch him at his resurrection, he said to her

“Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my father, but go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend unto my father and your father, and to my God, and your God”.
And so he disappeared to appear in heaven before God on our behalf: (Heb 9:24).
On reaching Heaven, in the presence of God; he could not enter into God as a spirit or word he was before taking human nature of flesh, bone and blood; but God sat him on his right hand (Mk 16:19) and clothed him with a glorious body (Phil 3:21) which make it impossible for him to enter into God as his word / Spirit.

For this glorious body of Jesus had bone and flesh in the spiritual heaven, yet he is not a spirit because spirits don’t have bone and flesh as he has.

Again, his glorious body has no blood, therefore he is not a man, for man has bones, flesh and blood. Read all this in Lk 24:39-43.
If he is not a spirit, nor a man what was he? Simply a son of God; the first of the new creatures in Jesus Christ; the first fruit in him (2 Cor 5:17; James 1:18).

Time will fail us to talk more about this but this signifies our sonship on the resurrection day; when we shall be clothed with his kind of glorious body and be made sons of God.
God bless you.
